JSC Company “Montazhspetsstroy” considers Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental protection to be one of the key priorities of its activities.

The Company performs construction and installation, design and production activities at oil and gas, industrial and infrastructure facilities, where people’s Safety, reliability of production processes and responsible Environmental management are mandatory conditions for successful project delivery.

Our approach to HSE

The Company’s HSE system is aimed at preventing occupational injuries, occupational diseases, emergency situations and negative impacts on the environment.

In its activities, the Company follows the principles below:

• the safety of employees, contractors and visitors is a priority when planning and performing work;
• all operational risks must be identified, assessed and controlled before work starts;
• every employee has the right and obligation to stop unsafe work;
• managers at all levels are responsible for compliance with HSE requirements;
• training, briefings, control and continual improvement are the basis of the safety culture;
• compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, international standards and customer requirements is mandatory.

Main HSE areas

Within the HSE system, the Company ensures:

• hazard identification and occupational risk assessment;
• briefings, training and knowledge checks for employees;
• control of personnel access to high-risk work activities;
• use of personal and collective protective equipment;
• management of the permit-to-work system and safe work execution;
• internal checks, inspections and audits;
• recording, investigation and analysis of incidents, unsafe acts and unsafe conditions;
• preparedness for emergency and crisis situations;
• environmental control, rational use of resources and waste management;
• interaction with customers, contractors and government authorities on HSE matters.

Safety culture
