Based upon the glorious history, MSS JSC was founded in 1994 on the basis of the Ministry of Installation and Special Construction activities of Kazakh SSR, and currently represents one of the largest multidisciplinary construction companies the in oil & gas sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Over the last 25 years the Company successfully participates in implementation of major Industrial Projects.

Our Customers are such companies as: Tengizchevroil (TCO), Agip KCO, Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. (KPO), North Caspian Operating Company N.V. (NCOC), Zhaikmunai LLP, Maersk Oil Kazakhstan, KAZCHROME and others.

Company has work performance experience on EPC turnkey projects (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning) in industrial building construction.

Technically challenging works on onshore and offshore projects were carried out in the Republic of Kazakhstan using our own resources as well as a member of consortium with non-resident partners. 

The Key Focus Areas of the Company are as follows:

1. civil works, including earthworks, roads, cast-in-situ and prefabricated reinforced concrete structures, general construction of various purpose buildings, etc.;
2. installation of field and process pipelines, pipework, including welding of different steel grades, non-destructive testing, heat treatment and other related operations, and pre-commissioning;
3. erection of steel structures of all kinds including steel tanks up to 80,000 m3 with floating roof;
4. installation of static and dynamic equipment, including pumps, compressors, tanks of various types with capacity 1000 m3 and more, weight up to 400 tonnes, package units, lifting equipment, etc., and pre-commissioning;
5. application of protective coverings for structural steel, pipelines and equipment, including surface preparation and painting of structures, thermal/cold insulation, cathodic/anodic protection, etc.;
6. electrical works including installation of tray systems, aboveground and underground cabling of different types, including main cables, installation of electrical equipment of any types, including pre-commissioning.
7. instrumentation, telecommunication, Fire & Gas activities, including cabling including fiber optic cables, calibration and installation of devices, equipment and others, pre-commissioning. 

The Company has qualified engineering, technical and operating personnel consisting of 1500 people (permanent staff), including a construction equipment fleet required for the above listed works, as well as completely equipped production bases in Almaty, Atyrau oblast (Tengiz village, Karabatan station), Aksai (West Kazakhstan oblast).

Furthermore, MSS JSC is a financially stable company that guarantees covering of all potential risks that might be borne both by Client and Contractor as a result of projects execution.

For the purpose of large-scale mobilization of construction equipment, facilities and personnel to anywhere in the country to start works at any time of the year the Company has an always available long-term bank credit line.  

Company has the following State Licenses in place:

GSL No 000021 for Construction & Installation work, I Category;

GSL No 000021 for Design work, I Category;

GSL No 07938 for Engineering Survey works.
