Starting from January, 2016 and till December, 2021 MSS Team has completed the overall complex of construction & installation works, from excavation activities to installation of sophisticated process equipment and furniture arrangement. Handover of detailed design documentation, commissioning activities, incorporation of comments and turnover of the Facility to Client’s Operation Service took place from January to June, 2022.
5.555.640 LTI free man-hours have been achieved during the terms of the Contract, and several times recognized by Client’s certificates. MSS Project Team comprised of 150 engineers and 800 workers and foremen (*peak value) completed all construction discipline activities, including: driving of 510 piles, construction of 12.800 m3 concrete foundations, erection of more than 1.300 tons of structural steel, including long span trusses and frame structures, installation of 5.300m piping and HVAC utilities equipment, water supply and sewage piping, laid more than 450 km of various cables for Power Supply, Instrumentation, Telecommunication systems, Access Control System, carried out 6.800m2 civil finishing works and many other activities in full compliance with strict Safety, Work Methods and Quality requirements raised by Client, TENGIZCHEVROIL. Additionally, MSS specialists have procured and delivered to the site a huge amount of construction materials, items and structures for the purpose of the Contract.
The completed Facility will occupy the rightful place in MSS Team success collection, and we are hoping this will facilitate a successful growth of Tengiz field and the whole Kazakhstan».
